Tubular heaters

Sheathed tubular elements

Tubular heating element use consolidated and established technologies utilising a spiral of resistive wire immersed in MgO compressed and protected by a metallic sheath. Tubular heaters after annealing can be shaped to many geometries depending on the heating needs and foot print available, their advantages are:

  • High reliability at higher temperatures
  • High mechanical and chemical resistance can be "finned" (providing extended surface areas enabling quicker heat exchange for the same diameter of resistance)
  • Large range of power, tension, shape, and dimensions.
  • Junction boxes and connections also in waterproof and explosion-proof execution
  • Uses for regulation and safety devices, electronic or electromechanical

Sheath material suitable with the application: ·

  • AISI 304,316,321,309
  • INCOLOY 800,825
  • INCONEL 600
  • TITANIUM
  • COPPER
  • CARBON STEEL
  • SPECIAL MATERIALS

Easy installation guaranteed by a large range of fixing systems:

  • Standard customised flanges
  • Plugs 1"-1"1/4- 1"1/2- 2"- 2"1/4- 2"1/2
