Ultrawatt cartridge heaters and low density elements

Cartridge heaters manufactured by Rica, can be supplied high density (ultrawatt), medium or low density according the requested performance and the necessary specific power. Ultrawatt cartridge heaters provide the best performance since they can reach temperature up to 860°C, besides Rica cartridge heaters are available in several executions based on our customers requests.

Low density cartridge heaters are used for operating temperatures below 400° C. The most common fields are equipment for heat sealing – moulds for shoes machinery – packaging machinery – scientific application and the commercial market (refrigeration industry).

Cartridge heaters can be used in several applications like:
